Not Enough Princesses
A new children's show based on Swedish Fairytales

Adapted and Directed by Shari Johnson
September 24 - November 6, 2005
Saturdays and Sundays, 2pm & 4pm
Not Enough Princesses is a new play for children based on classic, yet not well-known, Swedish fairy tales. Assorted characters are searching the forest separately for a princess, little knowing that there is only one princess at the end of their quest. On their way they meet all sorts of trolls and fantastic creatures. The style and mood is inspired by the work of Swedish illustrator John Bauer whose work is romantic, dark, dramatic, and whimsical.
